UGC stands for "User Generated Content". If you are in the Digital Marketing/Performance Marketing Landscape, then you know what UGC is like the back of your hand. UGC is user generated content, content created by micro influencers, influencers, or ordinary people. This type of content is personable, and high performing.
Here you'll see a variety of edits ranging from simple to complex. Simple edits such as edits with only text bubbles and an end card to match the native format of the platform it is intended to be live on. And complex edits with motion graphics or elevated footage included.
(Fun Fact: I'm also in some of these)
Below are fun edits and some of my favorites are here. Enjoy!
Logging the footage, I look for opportunities for edits, copy, and motion graphics. After logging footage, I look for potential hooks, b-roll, and clips within provided footage; pulling them all into a stringout. From there, I make my edits, adding music and any elements which could elevate the edit. And sometimes, less is all that is needed.
If clients need to test multiple hooks, resulting in larger batches, edits are Templated with Templater in After Effects. Simply, after setting up the After Effects project for Templater, I use Templater to create multiple - sometimes hundreds, of edits with the click of a button.
